The Chinese Women's Cricket Team is preparing for the Premier Cup.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) have awarded the hosting rights for the 2024 ACC Women’s Premier Cup tournament to Malaysian Cricket Association (MCA), with the event set to take place from February 09th – 18th, 2024.
Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Nepal, China, Hong Kong, China, Myanmar, Bhutan, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Singapore, Japan, Qatar and Maldives for the tournament,with four groups of four teams.

Group A: Thailand, Myanmar, Kuwait, Singapore

Group C: Indonesia, Malaysia, Bahrain, Qatar
Group D: Nepal, Hong Kong, Bhutan, Maldives
Women’s teams of Japan and Indonesia will be taking part as special invitees, as announced by ACC in 2022 towards their pathway tournaments for 2023 and 2024. All matches in the tournament will carry ICC team ranking points.

The Winner and the runners-up in the Premier Cup will qualify for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024 tournament, set to take place in July. The four semifinalists from the Premier Cup will qualify for the ACC Women’s Emerging Asia Cup 2025 tournament.
On January 8, 2024, the Chinese Cricket Association announced the list of players and coaches for the Premier Cup training on its official website. This is also the second time in history that the Chinese Cricket Association has published a list of Chinese cricket players and coaches preparing for or participating in the game on its official website. (The first time is the list of players and coaches preparing for the Hangzhou Asian Games on February 13, 2023)

The selection criteria for players participating in this Premier Cup:
1. The top three athletes representing the country in the 2023 intercontinental competition;
2. The main athlete of the championship team in the highest category of the national championship;
3. Coaches and athletes of the national cricket training team preparing for the Hangzhou Asian Games.
The Chinese women's cricket team won the runner-up in the 2023 East Asian Cup, and the Shenyang Sports Institute women's cricket team won the championship in the National Cricket Championship held in August 2023.
In addition, the Chinese men's cricket team will participate in the 2024 Men's Cricket Challenger Cup on January 27, 2024. The Chinese cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the official website of the Chinese Cricket Association to announce the list of participating players or related game reports.
